Linocut Self Portrait Series

This series of three self-portrait linocut prints explores the relationship between process, time, and self-representation. Each successive print is created by cutting further into the same linoleum block, gradually removing more material and revealing increased detail with each stage.

The first print captures a more simplified, bold impression, relying on larger shapes and minimal linework. In the second, additional carving introduces greater definition and contrast, refining key features and adding complexity.
